Meizhan is a nationally certified high-aroma cultivar identified in the 1950s (No. GS13006-1985). Processed with light withering → gentle rolling → controlled fermentation at 27°C for 80 minutes → gentle full drying, moisture content ≤4.1%. GC-MS testing reveals 1.35 mg/g linalool and 0.42 mg/g benzaldehyde, delivering a typical plum fruit aroma and orchid fragrance. Tea theaflavins at 1.14%, thearubigins at 10.2% (GB/T 30483), yielding a bright orange-red infusion. Caffeine content is 29 mg/200 ml, offering a gentle stimulant effect; 46% water extractives, sustaining 8–9 infusions. Double-sealed with aluminum foil bag and tin canister, maintaining aroma for 24 months at room temperature away from light. SGS tested for 500 pesticide residues, none detected. Full traceability under SC certification.
