Jiǔ Qǔ Hóng Méi, honored as the 'Queen of Hangzhou Black Tea'. This premium 2025 spring harvest tea is sourced from low hills (200-400 m elevation) in Jiuqu, Shuangpu Town, West Lake District. The tea bushes are century-old bushes of the Longjing group cultivar, growing in selenium-rich zisha loam soil with significant day-night temperature differences, which is ideal for balancing polyphenols and amino acids. It contains 21.2% tea polyphenols and 4.0% amino acids (GB/T 8314), with a polyphenol-to-amino acid ratio of 5.3, creating a sweet, smooth taste without bitterness. The tea undergoes 6 hours of withering → light rolling → controlled fermentation at 27°C for 80 minutes → light firing to full dryness, with moisture content ≤4.3%. GC-MS testing reveals 1.24 mg/g linalool and 0.57 mg/g phenylethyl alcohol, delivering a complex aroma of caramelized honey, rose, and ripe fruit. The tea contains 1.06% theaflavins and 9.8% thearubigins (GB/T 30483), yielding a bright orange-red infusion with a distinct golden rim. With 28 mg/200 ml caffeine, it offers a gentle energy boost, and 45% water extractives ensure 8-9 infusions with sustained sweetness. Double sealed in aluminum foil bag and tin can, the tea retains its aroma for 24 months under cool, dark storage conditions. SGS tested for 500 pesticide residues, none detected. Full traceability with SC certification. Made from spring Longjing material, lightly fired to produce a red tea with floral and honey notes, bringing the essence of springtime in Jiangnan to your palate.
