This 2025 autumn "Osmanthus Black Tea" is based on spring tea buds and first leaves of Fuding Dahongpao tea cultivar, and was scented three times plus one additional lifting with fresh "Golden Osmanthus" flowers at a ratio of 1:3 in the osmanthus valley of Lingchuan, Guilin, Guangxi, at an altitude of 300-500 m during late September. The low-temperature aroma-locking process lasted 72 hours. The synergistic effect of tea β-ionone, linalool, and osmanthus volatile linalool and γ-decalactone creates a fresh osmanthus honey-like aroma, with a total floral volatile content of 1.34 mg/g according to GC-MS testing. Tea polyphenols (20.6%), amino acids (3.7%), and a polyphenol-amino acid ratio of 5.6 ensure the tea liquor is sweet, smooth, refreshing, non-bitter and non-astringent. Tea theaflavins (1.08%) and thearubigins (9.4%) (GB/T 30483) produce a bright orange-red liquor with a golden rim. Caffeine level is 26 mg/200 ml, offering a gentle stimulating effect; water extractables at 45%, remaining fragrant for 6-7 infusions with lingering osmanthus aftertaste. Double-sealed with aluminum foil bag and tin canister, aroma remains stable for 18 months under normal storage conditions away from light; SGS tested 500 pesticide residues, all non-detect. SC certified with full traceability. If you wish to embrace both "autumn evening osmanthus" and "honey sweet liquor" in one cup of black tea, this can of osmanthus black tea is your autumn limited edition.
