Dianhong Golden Snail is made from the first spring buds and leaves of tea plants grown at an altitude of 1600-1800 meters in Fengqing. The leaves are hand-rolled into a 'snail' shape, locking in fragrance while adding visual appeal. The highland climate features a day-night temperature difference ≥10 °C. With 24.1% polyphenols, 4.0% amino acids, and a polyphenol-to-amino-acid ratio of 6.0, it establishes a fresh, mellow, sweet, and smooth flavor profile, free of bitterness or astringency. Light withering and light rolling → controlled fermentation at 28 °C for 75 minutes → gentle drying to full dryness, with a moisture content ≤4.3%. GC-MS testing reveals 1.29 mg/g linalool and 0.54 mg/g phenylethyl alcohol, delivering a complex aroma of honeyed sugar, rose, and ripe fruit. Tea contains 1.18% theaflavins and 10.3% thearubigins (GB/T 30483), yielding an orange-red, bright infusion with a thick golden rim. Caffeine level is 31 mg/200 ml, offering gentle stimulation; water extractives reach 47%, allowing for 8-9 infusions. Double-sealed in aluminum foil bag and tin can, the tea retains its aroma for 24 months under normal, light-protected storage. SGS tested for 500 pesticide residues with zero detection. Full traceability under SC certification. Approximately 58,000 tender buds are used per 100g — less than 1 USD per serving — for a taste of the highland large-leaf varietal's honey-sweet floral notes.
