Dianhong Golden Threads is hailed as the 'King of Golden Buds'. This premium 2025 spring tea is hand-picked from the first spring buds of Fengqing large-leaf tea plants grown at elevations of 1600–1800 m in Fengqing County. The high-altitude environment with a day-night temperature difference of ≥10 °C creates an ideal balance of polyphenols (24.5%) and amino acids (4.0%), with a phenol-to-ammonia ratio of 6.1, resulting in its fresh, mellow, sweetish, and smooth taste without astringency. The tea undergoes light withering → light rolling → controlled temperature fermentation at 28 °C for 75 minutes → gentle full drying, with a moisture content of ≤4.2%. GC-MS testing reveals linalool (1.26 mg/g) and phenylethyl alcohol (0.53 mg/g), delivering a complex aroma of honeyed sugar, ripe fruit, and floral notes. Tea theaflavins (1.19%) and thearubigins (9.8%) (GB/T 30483) produce a golden-bright liquor with a thick golden rim. Caffeine content is 33 mg/200 ml, offering a gentle stimulant effect; water extractives reach 47%, allowing for 8–10 infusions. Double-sealed packaging with aluminum foil bag and tin can preserves aroma for 24 months under normal, light-protected storage conditions. SGS tested for 500 pesticide residues—none detected. Full traceability under SC certification. Each 100 g of dried tea requires approximately 68,000 tender buds—less than $1 per serving—to deliver the honey-sweet floral character of high-altitude large-leaf golden buds.
