Lapsang with osmanthus is a romantic creation born from the encounter between the 'pioneer of world black tea' and the 'autumn night osmanthus'. Made from the authentic Zhengshan cultivar grown at 1,200 m altitude in Tongmu Pass, hand-picked in autumn 2025 with one bud and one leaf. With 22.1% polyphenols, 3.9% amino acids, and a phenol-amino ratio of 5.7, it establishes a sweet, smooth, thick, and non-bitter base. Traditionally smoked with pine wood for 4 hours to form a light pine smoke framework, then scented for 72 hours using unopened golden osmanthus flowers with a 'three scenting, one topping' process around the autumn equinox, followed by low-temperature re-firing to lock in aroma, moisture content ≤4.3%. GC-MS shows a total of linalool, γ-decalactone, and pine smoke characteristic phenols at 1.37 mg/g. On tasting, the notes unfold from pine smoke, to osmanthus, then honey, with distinct layers. Theaflavin content is 1.12%, thearubigin 10.2% (GB/T 30483), yielding a bright, vivid red liquor with a prominent golden rim; caffeine at 29 mg/200 ml provides gentle stimulation; water extractives reach 46%, allowing 7–8 infusions while still retaining an osmanthus aftertaste. Double sealed in aluminum pouch and tin can, aroma remains stable for 18 months under room temperature and light protection; SGS tested with zero detection in 500 pesticide residues, full traceability under SC certification. One cup of this Lapsang with osmanthus brings the pine breeze of Tongmu Pass and the moonlight osmanthus shadow of Mid-Autumn Festival together on your palate—sweetness that penetrates deep into the bones.
